PRINCESS ANNE, Md. (AP) — Devon Ellis had 20 points and Troy Hupstead added a double-double in Maryland-Eastern Shore’s 69-60 victory over Norfolk State on Monday night.

Ellis was 8 of 10 shooting and 4 of 5 from the free throw line for the Hawks (6-14, 2-5 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference). Hupstead finished with 18 points and 15 rebounds.

Jamarii Thomas and Tyrel Bladen finished with 16 points each for the Spartans (15-9, 5-2), who had a five-game win streak end. Allen Betrand had 13 points and six rebounds.
